Scraptoft Day Nursery is a friendly, warm, professional day setting and provides the option for the children to have healthy and nutritious meals which are made on site. My son absolutely loves it here and the Staff are fantastic, they are very supportive, welcoming and approachable. The Nursery has helped grow his confidence and provided him opportunities to take part in different activities and new learning experiences. The Nursery has also invested in Tapestry which is a online platform, they post observations and  information regularly on there which allows parents to follow their child’s journey and learning experiences. Cannot recommend this Nursery enough and we have never looked back! Thank you to Scraptoft Day Nursery for making a huge difference to our son’s life and a giving him a love to learn and explore.

My little boy has attended Scraptoft Day Nursery for over a year now in which time I have been a little surprised to see just how well he has progressed, particularly with his vocabulary and his motor skills. He was painfully shy, strong willed and anxious when he first started but, using different techniques, the excellent and friendly staff have made great efforts to help him feel more secure. I feel that all staff actually take time to get to know my child, his likes and dislikes, and that they adapt their manner to help him feel more settled. They are all approachable and are responsive with any concerns. Staff are also brilliant in setting up varied and stimulating activities for the children as well as using outside agencies, such as Super Star Sports and Mini Professors, to allow the children an opportunity to experience different ways of learning. As a parent I am kept updated daily on what he has been doing, both verbally and via an online learning journal. The nursery itself is such a welcoming and homely setting and new owners have taken time to thoughtfully improve and update the building and its surroundings. There is a large and well maintained garden that my son, who enjoys the outdoors, loves to play in. I would definitely recommend this nursery setting, without hesitation. I think it meets every high standard you would expect and staff are just lovely towards the children and parents alike making me feel confident that I am leaving my child with people who care about him and his development.
